Vojvodić, Ivo, Croatian painter (Dubrovnik, November 29, 1923 – Dubrovnik, August 5, 1994). Graduated in 1953 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb (Đ. Tiljak). At first he painted expressive portraits (Tin Ujević, 1955), then he was briefly occupied with associative abstraction (sea ​​reef, 1956). The largest part of his oeuvre is related to views of Dubrovnik and melancholic interiors of bourgeois, maritime and poor Dubrovnik families, as well as depictions of the sea in dark blue colors (Red interior, 1976; Hurricane South, 1986).
